The Sarasota Bay Housewives – Motorized Solar Shades
I was invited to the party of all parties at Claire Burn’s house. I mean, I don’t think I would ever really be a close friend of Claire’s, but just to be able to see that house of hers would be quite the treat. I was invited by a friend of a friend of Clair’s named Piper. I don’t know how she gets these invites to the biggest names and homes on Sarasota Bay, but she does! I’m just really excited to see her interior design style.
When I got there her very excitable assistant answered the door as if she was holding a bouquet of kittens. The colors were just astonishing, and I felt like I was walking into a lollipop factory. My eyes were drawn to her blue room, with windows looking right out to the blue waters of Sarasota Bay.
As I made my way through this gorgeous house, I spotted Piper in the back motioning me to come over. Thank God, someone I knew. Claire was in the room giving a demonstration on her motorized solar shades. She would press the button, up, down, up, down. It was very pretty, and I was fascinated on how I could still see her glistening pool, sparkling like diamonds while the glare from the sun was diminished. It was amazing; she could even operate the shades by voice command! She continued to talk about this company named, Made in the Shade Blinds Sarasota. She gushed about how two hot guys did the install in muscle tees. I’m pretty sure she was exaggerating, but maybe she has an imagination as colorful as her house! This woman seems to live for a good “show,” so I wouldn’t be surprised if she had those tight tees waiting for them upon install day. Out of all her millions of dollars of furnishings, she decided to show off her motorized shades. She had really long red-painted fingernails and long fake eye lashes. She caught my eye starring at her so, I flashed my hot pink lipstick smile in approval and interest.
Piper proceeded to tell me she was headed to the lady’s room and would be right back. I was sitting there, what felt like forever waiting for her, so I decided to go find her. As I was walking down this long hallway, there was Piper coming out of the bathroom wide eyed with her jaw open. Stay tuned to next Friday, to find out what Piper saw.
